This distinctive wine is the result of our Nebbiolo grapes being picked in the middle of winter, two months after the first frost of the season. During the cold frosty winter the grapes are left to hang on the naked vines, slowly turning to raisins. Once harvest the grapes are cool fermented and aged in oak for 18 months.
In 2008 just nine hundred bottles were produced.
14.5% v/v alcohol with almost no residual sweetness. Contains preservative 224.
Cork sealed for extended, 20+year aging if desired.
