Silky white chocolate mousse meets the sweet tang of apple balsamic in this elegant dessert. Light yet indulgent, it’s the perfect way to impress on any special occasion!

Ingredients:

  • For the Mousse:

    • 200g white chocolate, chopped
    • 1 cup heavy cream (cold)
    • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
    • 1 tsp vanilla extract
    • 1 tbsp honey (optional, for extra sweetness)

     

  • For the Apple Balsamic Compote:

    • 2 apples, peeled, cored, and diced
    • 2 tbsp Lirah Caramelised Apple Balsamic
    • 1 tbsp brown sugar
    • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
    • 1 tbsp butter

     

  • For Garnish:

    • 2 tbsp toasted almonds, chopped
    • Extra Lirah Caramelised Apple Balsamic for drizzling

Method

  1. Melt the white chocolate in a heatproof bowl over a pot of simmering water, stirring until smooth. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whip the cold heavy cream until soft peaks form. Gently fold in the Greek yogurt, vanilla extract, and melted white chocolate until smooth.
  3. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter and add diced apples, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Cook for 3-4 minutes until the apples soften slightly. Stir in Lirah Caramelised Apple Balsamic and cook for another minute. Remove from heat and let cool.
  4. Spoon layers of mousse and apple balsamic compote into serving glasses, repeating until full.
  5. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
  6. Garnish with toasted almonds and drizzle with extra Lirah Caramelised Apple Balsamic before serving.
