Lamb chops are a tender cut of meat that can be grilled, fried, BBQ’d or baked. This recipe, with the lovely sweetness of Lirah Caramelised Honey Balsamic, is a quick and easy to prepare weeknight meal.
Ingredients:
- 1/3 cup Lirah Caramelised Honey Balsamic
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 1 tablespoon honey
- ¾ cup vegetable oil
- Salt & freshly ground black pepper
- 8 lamb chops
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- ½ tablespoon fresh rosemary leaves, chopped finely
Method
- In a small food processor combine the Lirah Caramelised Honey Balsamic, garlic and honey. Pulse until combined then, with the machine running, slowly pour the vegetable oil and keep blending until it forms a thickened sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Preheat a grill pan over medium-high heat.
- Season lamb chops with salt and pepper then drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with rosemary. Grill the chops until cooked to your liking (approx. 2-3 minutes each side for medium-rare).
- Allow the chops to rest for approx. 8 minutes and then serve with the Lirah Honey Balsamic Sauce spooned over and steamed greens & roast potatoes on the side.
